After long enough that it should be a criminal offense... (you got the time, you don't have the money... You have the money, you don't have the time. Sad to say, that's just how it goes sometimes.) Soon it all shall be done, I hope.
New filters? check
New engine, trans and diff oil? check.
Regrease shifter assembly? Check.
Brakes are gonna wait till I have driven a bit to scrape most of the rust off the discs
New top? Check.
fixed all the leaks around new top? check.
final check this morning to verify dryness? ... wtf is that shiny spot under the rear window? it looks like water.... fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...
sigh.
Good news is the ez on auto tops has a lifetime warranty on their rear windows. Bad news is they will most likely send out a new top, and I have to go through the 20 or so odd hours of top install all over again. followed by the subsequent leak chasing. All over again.
Sigh.

About half the S2000 guys I know all have hard tops. 5 of them have the mugen replica, one has the OEM from a CR, and one has the spoon top.

yeah, but where's the fun in that? You can't just drop the top and go. You actually have to plan to get topless.

Pretty much! I like the hard-top look and when I get an S2000 I'm planning on investing in a hard top without deleting the soft top. It gets extremely hot in Houston and plus it will be my daily driver, so I don't want to increase the chances of the soft top getting slashed and having the seats stolen.

Sadly though, the way I see it, if they are willing to slash your top, they are willing to break a window.

I wonder which one is cheaper to replace.
